Fandoqlu forest

Fandoqlu is a continuation of semi-arid Gilan forests that covers an area of about 16000 hectares: 4000 are forest, and the rest is pasture. Heyran mountain pass beside of forest and plain sceneries attract tourists to the region. The region inhabits a wide range of flora and fauna among which the most noticeable is hazelnut tree. Moreover, there is a highly popular grass ski resort in Fandoqlu district.
