Alvares

Alvares is one of the largest ski resort in Iran that is located on the slope of Mount Sabalan. Its height from the sea level reaches to 3200 meters, and that is why it all covered by snow in the fall and winter. The persistent cold weather and the resultant slowly-melting snow, allows skiing and other winter-related entertainments happen in the Alvares Ski Resort from 6 to 8 months of a year. This resort is equipped with chairlift, surface lift, and some more amenities.
