Persian music

Persian music enjoys variation and has been intertwined with people’s customs and traditions. Music exists in happy and sad ceremonies of Iran in the shape of an instrument or singing a song. Music can find in wedding ceremonies, funerals, Nowruz celebration, harvest season, religious sessions, music is in the heart of Iran’s history and its people. There are some books that has had mentioned the trace of Persian music before the advent of Islam. According to these documents music was used during the Akhaemenid Empire and the Sassanian era. After the advent of Islam music was developed gradually.
