Borujerdi House, Kashan, Iran

The Borujerdi House is a historic house in Kashan city. It was built in Qajar dynasty (1749- 1925 Ad). Haj Seyyed Hassan Natanzi was the owner of the house one of the merchants living in Kashan city. The architect of this splendid house was Ustad Ali Maryam Kashani (19 Ad). The painting and stucco decoration in house were conducted under the supervision of Saniol- Molk an Iranian great painter (1814- 1867 Ad). The house in total area of 1700 square meters that including; interior Section (Andaruny), exterior Section (Biruny), two entrances, Tabestan neshin ( it was mostly utilized during summer) and Zemstan neshin (it was utilized during winter), kitchen, Vestibul (espace located following entrance), basement and corridor. On the southern side is a large covered hall adorned with reliefs, artistic carvings, painting in Russian style and stucco decoration, which was the main area for holding celebrations. The Borujerdi House was UNESCO Top Choice in 2015, 2016 according to popular tourist attractions classification system selection.
